Enabling high potential businesses to grow
Pera delivered the UK’s first High Growth Programme, which supported 165 SMEs to create £38m of GVA. We achieved £230k average growth/company/annum. Our overperformance reflects the successful culture Pera created within our community of 300 coaches, founded upon:
- Sharing best practice to optimise identification and assessment of potential high growth SMEs
- A meticulous matching process with psychometric profiling, leading to 100% client satisfaction with appointed coaches
- Customising support through local partners and onward referrals into other government initiatives
- Output-focused engagement stimulating enthusiasm, commitment and investment from businesses.
Pera continuously improved delivery performance throughout the programme. For example, we identified a significant business skills development barrier for early stage businesses and worked with our client to develop a targeted mentoring programme and secured a £640k ERDF enhancement to fund it, maximising benefits at minimal cost to our client.
